Committees

Pursuant to Section II.E of the Bylaws, the Board is authorized to create, from time to time, one or more standing and ad hoc committees of the Board, and determine the powers, responsibilities, chairperson, and members of such committees. The Board has the following five standing committees: (1) Building; (2) Governance; (3) Finance; (4) Policy; and (5) Institutional Advancement. 

No person shall serve on a Board committee unless appointed by the Board. The chairperson of a Board committee must be a trustee and each committee must have at least three (3) trustees. The chairperson of a Board committee shall be responsible for nominating for appointment any person other than a Trustee to serve on such chairperson’s Board committee. The Board Chairperson and Superintendent shall serve as ex officio members of all Board committees but shall not be required to attend all meetings.
